PURPOSE: A method for proliferating embryogenic tissue of Lilium longiflorum Thunb is provided to produce a large amount of Lilium longiflorum Thunb timbers. CONSTITUTION: A method for proliferating embryogenic tissue of Lilium longiflorum Thunb comprises: a step of collecting embryo from immature seeds of Lilium longiflorum Thunb after pollination; a step of culturing the embryos to induce embryogenic tissue of Lilium longiflorum Thunb; and a step of culturing the embryogenic tissues. The embryogenic tissue is induced in a medium containing 100mg/L of casein hydrolysate, 3.0 mg/L of 2,4-dichlorophenoxy acetic acid, 0.25 mg/L of benzyl adenine, 40 g/L of sucrose, and 0.2% of gelite.
