The invention relates to a multi-layer laminate for tubes and similar foil-type packaging having an embedded barrier layer, a metal-especially aluminium-foil and optionally an outer structure, especially an outer and/or sealing film, wherein the barrier layer consists of polyamide (PA), especially aromatic and/or partly aromatic polyamide or mixtures thereof, of mixtures of PA with polyacrylonitrile (PAN) and/or ethylene vinyl alcohol copolymer (EVOH), or of polyethylene terephthalate (PET). The invention further relates to a method of producing said laminate.
