PURPOSE: A radiation shielding apparatus and a radiation shielding door assembly using the same are provided to block radiation only with the movement of a door using a turning gear and a conversion gear which are combined with the of a hinge shaft. CONSTITUTION: A door(110) is made of a radiation insulator. A shielding film(140) blocks radiation which is emitted to a gap between the ground and the door. The shielding film is arranged in a form which is laid under the bottom plane of an installation space in which the door is arranged. A driving part(130) is communicated with the operating state of the door and transfers the shielding film. The driving part includes a gear(132) which is connected to the hinge shaft and a hinge(131) which is combined with the door.
