PURPOSE: A secondary battery is provided to restrain the loose end of a terminal, thereby improving the welding processability of a terminal plate and an electrode tap. CONSTITUTION: A secondary battery comprises a cap assembly(20) which comprises: a cap plate(40) attached to a insulating case(70); a terminal plate(60) between the cap plate and the insulating case; a insulating plate(50) the upside facing the cap plate and the underside facing the base of the insulating case; and one or more fixing members(54a) for fixing the terminal plate to the insulating plate, expanded from the base of the insulating plate.
