MOTOR AND OPTICAL DISC DRIVE USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A motor and an optical disk drive using the same are provided to accomplish processing simplification and to reduce costs by directly uniting an insulating layer to a base plate and to prevent the generation of a short circuit. CONSTITUTION: A circuit board(60) is combined in one side of a base plate. The circuit board is composed so that an insulating layer(69a) is formed in both sides of a board body. A first insulation layer is formed on the board body. A second insulation layer is formed on the first insulation layer. A base plate(50) is fixed and coupled with a stator. A third insulation layer is partly formed on the second insulation layer. The first insulation layer is formed into solder-resist and the second insulation layer is formed a prepreg sheet.
