PURPOSE: A fabric for airbag is provided to improve the busting phenomenon of an edge sealing part, and improve folding property and storagability. CONSTITUTION: A fabric for airbag comprises Polyethyleneterephtalate Yarn manufacturing by radiating Polyethyleneterephtalate chip of which inherent viscosity is 0.8-1.3dl/g. The heat-resistance of the fabric at 450°C, which is calculated from the equation[the heat resistance(second) = T1 - T2], is 0.45-0.65 second. The rigidity is 5.0-15.0 N. In the equation, T1 is dropping time of a steel rod heated to 450°C, from the height of 10cm passing through the fabric. T2 is dropping time from the height of 10cm in the air. The intensity of Polyethyleneterephtalate at room temperature is 8.0g/d-11.0g/d, and elongation is 15%-30%. The mono denier of the Polyethyleneterephtalate is 4.5 denier or less. |
