The carrier has bicycles (9, 10) arranged behind a rear end wall of a structure (2) of a passenger car (1) on a support unit (12) of a support system (11) at an operational position (Bst) of the bicycles, where the carrier is movably driven by the support system from the operational position to the non-operational position. The support unit comprises a support plate (13) held on a roof portion of a roof (3) in the non-operational position. The bicycles are adjusted between the non-operational position and the operational position by a lever (15).
