The tube (1) has a sealing device (8) designed as a bulge-like sealing bell (9), where a rear end region (23) of the bell encloses the tube. A front end region (24) of the bell comprises a seal lip (11) that is in contact with a neck region of a patient. The bell forms a retaining space (12) that retains an absorbent insert. The seal lip is made of soft-elastic material, and the bell comprises a reinforcing unit that is resilently or plastically deformed and formed from a metal wire. The absorbent insert fills 50 percent of free volume of the retaining space.
