A sensory device may collect sensed data and location information which is used to determine the contextual characteristic of the location. The sensed data, contextual characteristic and/or location information may be compiled into a database by a database compiler. Further, an ambient content package sharer may request and/or provide sensed data and/or determined contextual characteristics to other devices or the database compiler for inclusion in the database. An augmentative content adaptor may thereby provide for adaptation of an augmentative content for output at the location based on the contextual characteristic. Contextual characteristics may include audible contextual characteristics and visual contextual characteristics.
