PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing form for heat sink is provided to improve thermal performance by forming the form having the wide surface area. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing form for heat sink comprises next steps. The resin foam having predetermined shape is formed. The resin foam is made of one of aluminum, nickel, and silver to be 200-500nm. The metal layer is plated on the metal layer in the deposited resin foam surface to 5-10μm. The resin foam is eliminated by using electric heating, plasma, or chemical in order to make metal foam. The foreign material is removed from the metal foam.
