The disclosed mobile communication method involves: a step in which, when it is detected that a mobile station (UE) has moved into a cell (#1) inside an area to be measured, a mobility management node (MME) transmits to a wireless base station (eNB#1) which manages the cell (#1) a "measurement configuration #1" for prompting measurement and reporting of a desired wireless quality; and a step in which the wireless base station (eNB#1) transmits an "RRC connection reconfiguration" containing the "measurement configuration #1" to the mobile station (UE).
