The device has a support made up of wire with a stackable wire basket (1), and shoe holders (2) made up of meandering curved rods and fastened to the support for receiving shoes. Wire loops (3) are provided on an upper side of the wire basket, expanded in a base end in a head region. The wire loops are dimensioned in such a manner that a section of the wire loops is provided on the upper side of the wire basket while stacking the identical wire basket to be engaged in both sides of the unlocked base end of the wire loops of the stacked wire basket.
