<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oxygen concentrator and an oxygen concentrating method capable of executing a nitrogen adsorption process and a purification process in a short time without increasing catalyst or raising the rating of a compressor in a vacuum regeneration method pressure variation adsorption type oxygen concentrator. <P>SOLUTION: This oxygen concentrator is provided with a compression means 105a generating compressed air by compressing material air, a selector valve changing over between a generation state adsorbing nitrogen by catalyst by supplying the compressed air to adsorption columns 108a and 108b incorporating the catalyst and generating oxygen and a purification state purifying the catalyst by making the inside of adsorption columns a vacuum state by a decompression means 105b, and a vacuum tank 300 connected between the selector valve and the adsorption columns. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
