<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the waterproof-work of the splice portion of a wire harness. <P>SOLUTION: A case 20 consisting of a lower case 20A and an upper case 20B includes a cavity 25 inside, wherein both left-right sides of the case 20 are made into transparent parts 28 allowing light to pass therethrough, and the center part held between both left-right side transparent parts 28 is made into colored parts 29 not allowing light to pass therethrough. The splice part 14 and core line exposed parts 15 on both sides are arranged at the colored part 29 within the cavity 25A of the lower case 20A. The insulating cover parts 16 of wires 11 at a portion adjacent to the core line exposed parts 15 on both sides are arranged at the transparent part 28, and the wires 11 are drawn out of the wire drawn-out ports 26, and the upper case 20A is covered on the lower case 20B and an uncured photo-curing silicone resin is injected into the cavity 25 from the resin injection port 27. The case 20 is irradiated with light immediately after the injection of the silicone resin to cure the photo-curing silicone resin on the outer periphery of the insulating cover parts 16 located at the transparent part 28, allowing the photo-curing silicone resin at the colored part 29 to be cured naturally. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
