<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To discriminate the state of a callus easily and objectively with improved reproducibility by giving an objective index on whether the state of the callus in a culture environment in an incubator is friable or compact. <P>SOLUTION: An image obtained by performing the gray scale conversion of the color image of the callus and an image obtained by performing the gray scale conversion of the color component image of the color image of the callus are generated; the entropy values of the images are calculated by performing a texture analysis using a density cooccurrence matrix method for each image subjected to gray scale conversion; and the correlation comparison of an entropy value is performed between the image obtained by performing the gray scale conversion of the color image and the image obtained by performing the gray scale conversion of at least one kind of color component image. For acquiring the image of the callus appropriately, a texture analysis is performed to images acquired by photographing for a case where side irradiation light is applied into a placement surface from the outside of the incubator for storing the callus and for a case where irradiation light is applied obliquely from the front. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
