The unit (47) has a brake pressure sensor (2) and a pressure control device (1) arranged for adjusting pressure in a controlling chamber (22) of the brake pressure sensor. The pressure control device is hydraulically connected with the brake pressure sensor. A switching valve (37) and the control valve (42) are provided in the controlling chamber for increasing the pressure. Another switching valve (45) and another control valve (44) are provided in the controlling chamber for reducing the pressure. The unit is connected with a pressure modulation unit (3) of a hydraulic brake system (48).
