PURPOSE: A switching power source and an image forming device with the same are provided to reduce an output voltage of a switching power source, thereby reducing noise in a switching operating mode. CONSTITUTION: A circuit of a switching power source includes an insulation transformer(T21) and a diode bridge. The insulation transformer includes a first wire(L21), a second wire(L22), and a feedback wire(L23). The diode bridge has diodes(D11,D12,D13,D14). The circuit of the switching power source includes a smoothing condenser(C11), a starting resistor(R21), a resistor(R24), and switching elements(Q21,Q22,Q23). The circuit of the switching power source includes a photo coupler(PC21) and a rectification smoothing circuit(101). The photo coupler includes a light emitting diode(104a) and a photo transistor(104b). The rectification smoothing circuit includes a diode(D21) and a condenser(C23). The circuit of the switching power source includes an error detecting circuit(102) and an oscillation stop signal generating circuit(103). |
