FIELD: process engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to assembling locomotive motored wheel axles, in particular, fitting gears on traction motor shaft and mounting wheel pair. To fit gears on traction motor shaft, an appliance is used made up of a frame and supports for centering traction motor. Traction motor is mounted on bogie on one side while axial thrust bearings are used to center said motor in frame supports in position of gear mounting. Wheel pair is mounted on opposite side of said supports made up of axle boxes or centers. Measuring instruments are used to measure position of wheel pair gear wheel teeth, measurement results being used in fitted gears on motor shaft. Said gears fitted in place, traction motor is shifted on bogie unless axial thrust bearings are aligned with wheel pair axis to be mounted and to make finish measurements proceeding from assembly results. ^ EFFECT: lower labour input, higher precision, longer life. ^ 2 dwg |
