PURPOSE: A cultural assets restoration method is provided to completely restore cultural assets to a desired location while minimizing damage to the cultural assets. CONSTITUTION: A cultural assets restoration method is as follows. Components of side walls of cultural assets are joined. A main H-beam is installed around a raised surface and both ends of a reinforcing H-beam, which passes a tunnel excavated in the raised surface, are fixed to the main H-beam. Urethane resin is injected into the tunnel and urethane foam is filled in the gap between the inner wall of the tunnel and the reinforcing H-beam. The above processes are repeated in an adjacent tunnel to form a firm support unit underneath the structure. A plurality of vertical frames are installed on the main H-beam and a horizontal frame is installed on the top of each vertical frame. Wooden panels are attached to frames surrounding the interior and exterior of the side walls of the structure to build a side wall protective case. Urethane resin is injected into the side wall protective case and urethane foam is filled in the gap between side wall protective case and the side wall structure. A structure located inside the main H-beam is separated from the surface and loaded in a transport device.
