REGULAR PACKING

A regular packing is made ​​in the form of horizontal packages composed of profiled plates installed in a body perpendicular to the gas-liquid flow. The plates of each next package relative to the previous package are turned for an angle of 90°. Each plate is U-shaped and has a bend of flange edges at an angle of 90°. The plates are mounted at an angle of 30° to 45° to the direction of gas-liquid flow. The distance between the adjacent plates is chosen so as to prevent the through passage of liquid droplets through the package of regular packing.
