The invention relates to the branch of radiation ecology and biochemistry for concentratingTh of sea water and determination of its content to be able to use for speed measurement of sedimentary processes in sea waters. At the heart of invention the task is specified – by means of improvement of technology to raise effectiveness of thorium-234 extraction and method efficiency. The determination method of thorium-234 concentration in sea water consists in coupled adsorbers comprising manganese dioxide and is implemented direct radiometry of adsorbedby its basic &bgr;-radiation. Each adsorber operates in radial-exact mode provided with location of a disk adsorber between diaphragms. The water probe under investigation is supplied to central part of adsorber with the help of a diaphragm with central aperture then it flows to a periphery of the sorbing surface with the help of a diaphragm with peripheral slots. |
