PURPOSE: A primer used for a multiplex PCR method is provided to quickly and accurately detect five kinds of pathogenic microorganisms. CONSTITUTION: A multiplex PCR method for detecting Bacilllus cereus, Escherichia coli O157:H7, Staphylococcus aureus, Salmonella spp., Listeria monocytogenes comprises a step of using a primer set. The primer set contains base sequences of sequence numbers 1 and 2, sequence numbers 3 and 4, sequence numbers 5 and 6, sequence numbers 7 and 8, or sequence numbers 9 and 10. A PCR kit for detecting pathogenic microorganisms contains the primer set, template DNA, dNTP, 10 x buffer solution, Taq DNA polymerase, and distilled water.
