<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a superconducting liquid level gage with superior reproducibility that outputs a predetermined voltage value without being influenced by a temperature distribution and pressure conditions in gas, the kind of the gas, etc., and the like. <P>SOLUTION: The superconducting liquid level gage 1 includes a superconducting wire rod 4 which changes into a superconducting state at the boiling point of a low-temperature liquid, a non-superconducting wire rod 5 which does not change into the superconducting state at the boiling point of the low-temperature liquid, a superconducting heat generation part 7 which heats an upper part of the superconducting wire rod 4, a non-superconducting heat generation part 8 which heats an upper part of the non-superconducting wire rod 5, a power supply part 6 which supplies currents to the superconducting wire rod 4, non-superconducting wire rod 5, superconducting heat generation part 7, and non-superconducting heat generation part 8, isolation amplifiers which measure voltages across the superconducting wire rod 4 and non-superconducting wire rod 5, and an operation part 9 which computes the position of the liquid level of the low-temperature liquid 2 based upon values output from the isolation amplifiers, and computes the liquid level of the low-temperature liquid 2 by measuring the voltages across the superconducting wire rod 4 and non-superconducting wire rod 5 respectively and calculating the difference. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
