PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device that automatically extracts a period of successful dieting and shows the period to a user.

SOLUTION: A dieting analyzer 10 of this invention comprises: a data acquisition unit 104 for acquiring body data; a data recording unit 101 for recording the acquired body data; a dieting analysis unit 102 for creating average weight change data from one or more body data that correspond to one or more consecutive days and are stored in the data recording unit 101, and analyzing the change in the average weight change data to extract a period in which the change in the average weight change data is within a predetermined range; and a display unit 103 for showing information indicating the period of successful dieting extracted by the dieting analysis unit 102.
