A garden design method is disclosed. The garden design method includes the steps of: (a) providing queries to a customer which relate to a garden design, one of the queries relating to a type of the garden design; (b) obtaining responses to the queries provided to the customer; (c) determining, using computational means, at least one electronic garden template based upon the obtained responses; and (d) providing a preview including only partial details of the at least one electronic garden template to the customer.
