<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screed device which can effectively deflect a laying mixture and is structurally simple. <P>SOLUTION: A screed device 2 for a road finisher 1 comprises: a basic screed 6; and two expansion screeds 4 and 5 which are arranged in front of the basic screed 6 in the laying direction E of traveling and movable with respect to the basic screed 6 transversely to the laying direction E of traveling.
