<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for control of valve open/close timing, capable of promptly returning, when a running engine stops, to the phase of the start of an engine. <P>SOLUTION: The valve open/close timing control device includes: a phase conversion mechanism 7; a lock mechanism capable of fixing a relative phase in the initial phase of the start of an internal combustion engine; a bypass channel 1 for communicating between two kinds of pressure chambers 5, 6; an open/close mechanism 2 provided in the bypass channel 1, and configured to open when the internal combustion engine stops, and allow a working fluid to flow into the bypass channel 1; and a check valve mechanism 3 provided in the bypass channel 1, for allowing the working fluid to flow out from one of the two kinds of the pressure chambers 5, 6 to another, and preventing the working fluid from flowing in a reverse direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
