<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable pushing pressure acting on an open-close pressure valve in the closing direction thereof to suitably respond to changing grain pressure in a treatment barrel constituting an awn remover even when the motor load frequently fluctuates in a short period of time. <P>SOLUTION: The awn remover includes a treatment barrel wherein a stirring/transferring means is disposed, which treatment barrel is constructed in such a manner that grains fed thereinto from its one side are stirred and transferred by the stirring/transferring means to its discharge port formed on the other side thereof, whereby the grains present in the treatment barrel can be discharged via the discharge port by allowing the grain pressure to open the open/close pressure valve that openably closes the discharge port. The value of the motor current driving the stirring/transferring means is detected as a load acting thereon, and the pushing pressure generated by an actuator in the direction of closing the open/close pressure valve is controlled to cause the detected current value to maintain a predetermined target value of the load current. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
