ULTRAVIOLET RAY-CURABLE RESIN COMPOSITION USED IN INKJET PRINTING AND OPTICAL ELEMENT OBTAINED USING SAME

Disclosed is a material that is suitable for optical elements that is inkjet-coatable and ultraviolet ray-curable, the cured product of which has excellent transparency and hardness with a refractive index exceeding 1.5. A resin composition comprising at least (A) 5-45 mass% of vinyl group-containing copolymer obtained by copolymerizing divinyl aromatic compounds, (B) 55-94 mass% of a liquid photocurable multifunctional (meth)acrylate with two or more (meth)acryloyl groups, (C) 0.97-20 mass% of a photopolymerization initiator, and (D) 0.03-1 mass% of surfactant is prepared and is inkjet-coated on a supporting substrate and photo-cured to obtain optical elements of excellent transparency and hardness with refractive index exceeding 1.5.
