<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a stereoscopic image to be visible from the entire perimeter with high reproducibility and displayed in various forms according to viewing positions of viewers without making the stereoscopic display mechanism more complex than conventional systems. <P>SOLUTION: A stereoscopic image display device comprises: a rotation unit 104 which is cylindrical and rotates around a rotation shaft as the rotation center; a two-dimensional light emission element array which is fixed inside the rotation unit 104 and has a light emission surface formed by disposing plural light emission elements; and a slit provided on the peripheral surface of the rotation unit 104. The plural light emission elements emit light according to the direction of the light emission surface to the outside of the rotation unit via the slit. A display control unit 15 controls the light emission of the plural light emission elements to be in a state where the content of a stereoscopic image to be displayed is changed according to viewing positions of viewers detected by viewpoint detection means(an omnidirectional camera 91, an imaging signal processing unit 92). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
