<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To save a time and labor for correcting the bend of a welded wire, to improve the accuracy of teaching work, and to facilitate the teaching work by displaying a virtual wire distance L based on a picked-up image of a workpiece to be welded which is irradiated with a laser beam. <P>SOLUTION: This apparatus 1 for teaching a welding manipulator teaches, to the welding manipulator 2, welding motion that the welded wire 4 provided at the welding nozzle 3 of the welding manipulator 2 traces the weld line S of the workpiece W to be welded. The welding manipulator 2 is provided with an optical mechanism 7 which includes: a projector 5 for irradiating the workpiece W to be welded with the laser beam K along the wire axis WJ direction of the welding wire 4 or the direction crossing the wire axis WJ; and a camera 6 for imaging the workpiece W to be welded which is irradiated with the laser beam K from the direction crossing the laser beam axis LJ of the projector 5. The apparatus 1 for teaching the welding manipulator includes a display means 8 for displaying the picked-up image G by the camera 6 and the virtual wire distance L from the welding nozzle 3 to the workpiece W to be welded which is calculated on the basis of the picked-up image G. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
