<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To clarify that, by using an RNAi for specifically inhibiting MLL-AF4 gene expression in t(4;11) cells, depletion of the fusion transcription MLL-AF4 regulates clone-forming ability and proliferation, and inducing apoptosis in t(4; 11) positive leukemia cells, and puts the take of the cell in the SCID mouse xenogenic transplantation model at a risk. <P>SOLUTION: There are provided compositions and methods for modulating the expression of the MLL-AF4 fusion gene, and more particularly downregulation of MLL-AF4 by chemically modified oligonucleotides. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
