<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device having a structure in which an electronic circuit unit is fitted from an opening end of a box-shaped storage member open at one end, and capable of obtaining sufficient heat radiation effect without obstructing down-sizing. <P>SOLUTION: An imaging device 10 comprises an electronic circuit unit 30 including an imaging element 31 for obtaining a subject image formed by an imaging optical system 20, and a storage member 13 open at one end and having a box-shape so as to store the electronic circuit unit 30 by fitting from the opening end. In the electronic circuit unit 30, a heat transmitting member 37 having thermal conductivity abuts on an outer peripheral surface in parallel with a fitting direction. The heat transmitting member has a soft material portion 37b abutting on the outer peripheral surface of the electronic circuit unit 30, and a plate material portion 37a abutting on the soft material portion 37b and the inner peripheral wall surface of the storage member 13.
