The breathing aid (1) has a shielding element (2) formed in such a manner that it is arranged in mouth of a patient and inhibits airflow into and from the mouth of the patient. Inner and outer conduit sections (8, 14) are located on the shielding element, and conduct the airflow from or into throats through lips of the patient. An aperture is formed such that only limited airflow escapes from the aid into atmosphere to increase pressure in lungs of the patient. A bite unit (4) is arranged at the shielding element, and encloses teeth of the patient.
|
