<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a module which can be miniaturized by reducing the number of signal lines connected to bus interface means so as to reduce the mounting area. <P>SOLUTION: A module having a processor that communicates with other modules via a communication bus comprises: a wiring-saving bus which includes a one-bit signal line dedicated to output to the communication bus, a one-bit signal line dedicated to input from the communication bus, and a bidirectional command/data bus of a plurality of bits; bus interface means connected to one end of the wiring-saving bus, which interfaces with the communication bus according to a bus cycle of the wiring-saving bus; and bus cycle conversion means connected between another end of the wiring-saving bus and the processor, for converting the bus cycle of the wiring-saving bus into a bus cycle of the processor and also converting the bus cycle of the processor into the bus cycle of the wiring-saving bus. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
