<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a print server, a print control system and a print control method capable of efficiently executing printing. <P>SOLUTION: A print server is connected, through a communication network, to a client that transmits page description language (PDL) data and to an image formation device which has a RIP section to generate raster data by rasterization of the PDL data and a printer section to execute printing on the basis of the raster data. The print server at least comprises: a RIP section to generate the raster data by rasterising the PDL data received from the client; and a control section to compare an operation time for the PDL data received from the client and an operation time for the raster data generated in the RIP section of the print server, measured from a point of transmission to the image formation device to a point of output therefrom, respectively, and to transmit whichever is faster in operation time to the image formation device. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
