<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of reducing odor necessarily and sufficiently according to the use status of the image forming apparatus in a market while reducing electric power consumption and noise of an exhaust fan. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus in which an auxiliary duct 6 is attachable to an exhaust side of an exhaust fan 4 that exhausts air inside an apparatus body 1 includes duct determination means 10 for determining the state in which the auxiliary duct is being attached and control means 7 for variably controlling the rotating speed of the exhaust fan according to a determination result of the duct determination means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
