PURPOSE: A muffler for a vehicle is provided to effectively reduce the exhaust sound of a vehicle having a large displacement volume. CONSTITUTION: A muffler for a vehicle comprises a front muffler(100) and a rear muffler. The front muffler is composed as follows. Partition walls(104) are formed inside a front muffler body(101) having end plates(108,109). A first space is formed by one end plate and the partition wall, and a second space is formed by the other end plate and the partition wall. A sound absorbing member(107) is formed in the second space. A suction pipe(102) passes through one end plate and the partition wall. One side of an exhaust pipe(103) passes through the partition wall, and the other side passes through the other end plate. |
