<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent communication error in tripartite communication. <P>SOLUTION: To an IC card LSI21 there are supplied two clocks of a clock acquired from electromagnetic waves received in an antenna 22 and radiated by an external reader/writer 2 and of a clock in synchronism with an operation clock of the CPU 11. The two clocks are used, switched as operation clocks or the like of respective parts constituting the IC card LSI21 depending on an operation mode at that time and on a data transfer destination.
