SMART BINDING APPARATUS

PURPOSE: A smart book-binding apparatus is provided to automatically control the coating rate and coating area of adhesive by recognizing the thickness of a book. CONSTITUTION: A first jig(10a) and a second jig(10b) fix a bookbinding target. A thickness measurement unit measures the thickness of the bookbinding target. A jig movement unit moves the first jig and the second jig from a first location to a second location. A coating roller(30) sprays adhesive to the binding target. A control unit controls a motor which controls the rotation speed of the coating roller or controls the speed of the jig movement unit according to the thickness of the measured binding target.
