PURPOSE: A damper device, having the reduced air flow resistance, and a refrigerator equipped with the same are provided to improve energy saving performance of refrigerator by securely closing an opening of a damper device. CONSTITUTION: A damper device comprises an opening and closing door, a frame(63), and a case. The opening and closing door are driven with a driving member. The frame has an opening opened and closed with the opening and closing door. The case is hanged on the frame and has a driving member. The frame has a projection around the opening. The projection is projected than the cross section of the case.
