MICROACTUATOR BASED ON POLYELECTROLYTE

摘要

PURPOSE: The micro-actuator of a polyelectrolyte base is provided to improve driving efficiency by transferring a counter ion according to polarity of voltage which is applied. CONSTITUTION: A metal electrode layer(11) comprises a supporting part. A nano-porous metal layer(12), a polyelectrolyte layer(13), and a thin film electrode layer(14) are successively laminated on the metal electrode layer. An expanding part is composed of the nano-porous metal layer, the polyelectrolyte layer, and the thin film electrode layer. A counter ion is transferred between the polyelectrolyte layer and the nano-porous metal layer according to polarity of voltage which is applied to the nano-porous metal layer and the thin film electrode layer.
