PURPOSE: A radio frequency energy harvesting system and a method for charging battery of mobile devices are provided to charge the battery of a mobile terminal by amplify a wireless signal and rectifying it to collect energy. CONSTITUTION: In a radio frequency energy harvesting system and a method for charging battery of mobile devices, an impedance matching circuit(222) receives a neighboring radio frequency signal received through an antenna. A multistage amplification and rectifier circuit(223) are combined in the output of the impedance matching circuit. Clamping circuits(C21, D21) have a first capacitor and backward diode which are connected between two input terminals. Peak rectifiers(D22, C22) have a forward diode and a second capacitor which are connected to the both ends of the backward diode. The output of the multistage amplification and rectifier circuit is charged into the battery of a system or is supplied as a system operation power.
