PURPOSE: A safety type outlet is provided to selectively open and close a terminal insertion hole by rotatably installing an opening and closing member in a cover. CONSTITUTION: A depression unit(121) is formed in a cover(120). The depression unit has a ground hole(121a). The terminal of a plug passes through the ground hole. An opening and closing member(130) opens and closes the ground hole. A guide unit(131) is formed on one end of the opening and closing member. A first gear unit(133) is formed on the other side of the opening and closing member. A second gear unit(143) is formed in the operation wheel member(140). The first gear unit is engaged with the second gear unit.
