<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent clogging or the like of a semipermeable membrane of a device for extracting a solvent. <P>SOLUTION: In a first treatment mode, a treatment object solution is introduced into a solution-absorbing chamber 32, a mediation solution having solubility depending on temperature is circulated in the order of a first reaction chamber 11, an absorption chamber 31, a second reaction chamber 21 and a solution-extracting chamber 41, the mediation solution in the first reaction chamber 11 is heated by a heating means 6, and the mediation solution in the second reaction chamber 21 is cooled. In a second treatment mode, the treatment object solution is introduced into the solution-absorbing chamber 32, the mediation solution is circulated in the order of the second reaction chamber 21, the absorption chamber 31, the first reaction chamber 11 and the solution-extracting chamber 41, the mediation solution in the second reaction chamber 21 is heated, and the mediation solution in the first reaction chamber 11 is cooled.
