<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a press-forming property of a reinforcing member, and to sufficiently obtain the safety and protection of an occupant upon a side collision even if the number of components is decreased. <P>SOLUTION: The reinforcing member 5 is constituted by connecting one end of a roof side-rail side reinforcing panel 6 and one end of a side-sill side reinforcing panel 7 which are dividedly constituted, connecting the other end of the roof side-rail side reinforcing panel 6 to a roof side-rail 11 via a connecting reinforcing panel 9, and connecting the other end of the side-sill side reinforcing panel 7 to a side-sill 12. In the roof side-rail side reinforcing panel 6, one reinforcing extended portion 6c extending in the side-sill side reinforcing panel 7 while a protruding flange 6b is cut and removed is formed, in the side-sill side reinforcing panel 7, the other reinforcing extended portion 7c extending in the roof side-rail side reinforcing panel 6 while a protruding flange 7b is cut and removed is formed, and these reinforcing extended portions are superposed and bonded to each other. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
