<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect any packaging bag with printing omission or double position printing. <P>SOLUTION: A sealing device has a sealing unit 11 for sealing a packaging bag, a printing unit 12 for printing the sealed packaging bag, and an image reading unit 13 for reading the data printed on the packaging bag, which are arranged successively from the upstream side to the downstream side of a conveying passage for moving the packaging bag. A workpiece check sensor 15 for detecting presence/absence of any packaging bag moving on the conveying passage 10 is prepared, and when the workpiece check sensor detects any packaging bag, the dimension in the moving direction of the packaging bag is calculated from the movement or the moving time until any packaging bag is not detected, and the calculated dimension is compared with the reference dimension of the packaging bag. If the calculated dimension exceeds the reference value, an alarm is given. Further, a printing start sensor 14 is prepared between the sealing unit and the printing unit. When any packaging bag is detected, the calculation of the moving distance is started. If any printing start signal is output before the moving distance reaches the distance passing the printing unit from the printing start sensor, an alarm is given to inform that double position printing is to be carried out. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
