APOPTOSIS SENSITIVITY TO AP02L/TRAIL BY TESTING FOR GALNAC-T14 EXPRESSION IN CELL/TISSUE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide methods and assays examining expression of one or more biomarkers in a mammalian tissue or cell sample.

SOLUTION: The method for predicting the sensitivity to death receptor antibodies of the mammalian tissue or cell sample to death receptor antibodies includes steps of: obtaining the mammalian tissue or cell sample; and examining the tissue or cell sample to detect expression of GalNac-T14, wherein the expression of the GalNac-T14 is predictive that the tissue or cell sample is sensitive to the apoptosis-inducing activity of death receptor antibodies.
