<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid an operation trouble accompanied by a change of a discharge flow angle of molten steel from an immersion nozzle in a mold. <P>SOLUTION: In continuous casting in which heat conductive bodies of a coagulated shell 2, a mold powder layer 3 and a mold 4 exist between the molten steel 1 and cooling water for casting, a heat transfer coefficient α between the coagulated shell 2 and the mold 4 and a heat transfer coefficient β between the molten steel 1 and the coagulated shell 2 are simultaneously decided in a plurality of casting direction positions, respectively, by using temperature measuring means which are embedded in three or more points in at least either of mold width direction positions of left and right sides which sandwich the immersion nozzle 6 with positions displaced from one another in a mold long side 4L. Then the discharge flow angle of the molten steel from the immersion nozzle 6 is obtained on the basis of the mold width direction position and a casting direction position of a heat transfer coefficient β<SB POS="POST">max</SB>which shows a maximum value among a plurality of heat transfer coefficients β, and when the discharge flow angle is out of a prescribed discharge angle exceeding a prescribed value, casting speed is decreased. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
