<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize high-speed data communication without using a bandpass filter which works in a radio frequency band. <P>SOLUTION: A digital modulator comprises: a first amplifier for saturation amplifying and outputting a first non-modulation signal; a second amplifier for saturation amplifying and outputting the first non-modulation signal or a signal with a reverse phase of the first non-modulation signal; a third amplifier for saturation amplifying and outputting a second non-modulation signal orthogonal to the first non-modulation signal; a fourth amplifier for saturation amplifying and outputting the second non-modulation signal or a signal with a reverse phase of the second non-modulation signal; a first and a second voltage controllers for supplying voltage corresponding to a first baseband signal to the first and the second amplifiers as their power source voltage; a third and a fourth voltage controller for supplying voltage corresponding to a second baseband signal to the third and the fourth amplifiers as their power source voltage; and an addition unit for generating and outputting a modulation signal modulated by the first and the second baseband signals by adding outputs from the first to the fourth amplifier. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
